Antarctica Itineraries

The continent of Antarctica and the islands of the Falklands and South Georgia are fascinating destinations to explore. Throughout the summer months of November to March, they offer stunning ever-changing landscapes and an incredible amount of diverse wildlife. With the following Latin America itinerary ideas we try and give you a feel for what is and what isn't possible to achieve in a certain amount of time. These tour ideas are merely suggestions and we will tweak and tailor-make everything to exactly what you want to do on your holiday.

The icy and majestic ‘white continent’ of Antarctica has a great allure to it, attracting numerous explorers over the centuries. Since the early 20th Century conditions for leisure travel have improved significantly and today you can explore this exceptional continent by cruising on one of a number of comfortable ships.

From these ships you can discover the majestic ice caps and glaciers, get up close and personal to the unique wildlife, and enjoy an adventure like no other.

Traveling to the Antarctic waters is in very high demand and cabin berths are limited. We recommend planning at least 12 months in advance to ensure you get the best choice of boats and also your preferred month of travel.

All of the summer months offer fantastic experiences and as such there is no bad time to go to Antarctica during this period. If you have special interests, for example kayaking amongst whales; photographing penguin chicks in crèches; or sailing past huge tabular icebergs, then there will be cruise departures better suited to you.

In order to learn more about this amazing continent and get organising your trip of a lifetime, call one of our Antarctica specialists on 020 7622 1116 to tailor this holiday to you.
