Days 1 - 4 : Paraty, Brazil
Stay at Pousada do Ouro for 3 nights
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to the charming colonial town of Paraty. Set on Brazil's Emerald Coast, Paraty is a beautifully preserved colonial town. The whitewashed buildings and quiet cobbled streets have been recognised for its splendour and have been awarded UNESCO world heritage status. The town has many great restaurants and some lively bars playing Brazilian music. Here you will have days at leisure to explore Paraty and perhaps even take a boat out to the nearby bays and islands.
Days 4 - 7 : Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Stay at Miramar by Windsor for 3 nights
Transfer to Rio in time for the party of the year and some of Brazil's main Carnival celebrations. During your time here, you have at leisure to enjoy the Carnival and soak up all that’s going on in the city. On one evening, head to the Sambadrome where you will enjoy the colourful samba parades. The show and music goes on all night long, so dance the night away! Transfers back to your hotel will be offered approximately every two hours so you can head back at whatever time suits you best.
Days 7 - 11 : Buzios, Brazil
Stay at Pousada Casas Brancas for 4 nights
After Carnival, we think you'll be ready for some relaxation. Spend your final days unwinding in the vibrant coastal town of Buzios, a 3-hour drive away from Rio and the perfect place to end your trip whether you want to simply while away those final hours on the beach or continue the party. Buzios is often referred to as the Brazilian Saint-Tropez and certainly lives up to its reputation. On your final day, drive back to Rio to connect with your flight home.
