Active City & Table Mountain
This active tour of Table Mountain and Cape Town is the perfect excursion for those who love to get up and go on an active exploration. From hiking and cycling, to walking around this vibrant city, you're sure to see all it has to offer.
Head up Table Mountain in the cable car and experience the breathtaking views of the city and an endless ocean. A hike away from the crowds will take you past beautiful wildlife and rare plants and up to Maclear's Beacon - the highest point on the mountain - to view the 360 degree panoramic views. After a stop for coffee and a snack you will head down the mountain where you will hop on a bicycle to glide along the Sea Point Promenade. Here you will see Cape Town's urban life at it's best, see interactive art installations, and experience the true diversity of the city whilst your guide covers a range of topics. Bicycles are dropped off at the V&A Waterfront where you will explore the area before an afternoon walk to Bo-Kaap. The brightly coloured 17th century houses have a fascinating history. Guided by your interests, the tour could continue to the food artisans of Bree Street, to visit some art galleries or touch on politics by visiting Parliament or the Company's Gardens. End your tour sipping on a gin and tonic or with a cocktail in hand!
The tour excludes lunch and any entrance fees, but includes a gourmet pantry and any gear for the activities. Although lunch is not included, you can choose from a selection of lunchtime dining options – these are at an additional cost and pre-booking is essential. Cape Town is a foodie heaven and these options reflect the choice and standards of food around the city. Choices range from Local Eats, Fine Dining, a Wild Picnic and Pop-up dining, all with varying prices.
