Stroll around Georgetown, a UNESCO World heritage site, discovering the many sights and experiencing the town’s liveliness as you stop by the Spice Markets.
Beginning your tour at Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, where you can admire the distinguishing blue façade of the building whilst strolling the grounds. You’ll carry on to Muntri Street, home to a number of formerly booming trade guilds, including the Penang and Province Wellesley Café Association. Following this stop by a famous joss stick maker, and enjoy the fragrant aroma of the handmade incense before visiting Penang’s oldest Hindu Temple, Sri Mahamariamman. Then head to Market Street, passing by bountiful food stalls and taking in the buzz of Georgetown’s spice trade ending the tour at a restaurant for a delicious local meal.
