Having long been afflicted with wanderlust, Cheska has always loved to travel, and is most at home when she’s on the road. Her love for all things Latin stems from her parents, who lived in Venezuela for several years and encouraged her to travel there and immerse herself in its fascinating culture. She also became enamoured with the incomparable scenery of Canada while on her travels.
Cheska’s Latin America highlights include hand gliding over Rio de Janeiro, hiking Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala followed by some incredible camping under the stars. She has also seen plenty of Latin America, most recently on an overland trip all the way through Central America. Cheska was also captivated by the charms of British Columbia, she found herself enchanted by crystalline lakes, skiing through snow fields in Banff and driving through the renowned Rockies.
Favourite places I've been
My dream holiday would be getting away from the crowds and going off grid! Finding secluded beaches, barely discovered temples, meeting local people that kind of thing. South America is perfect for this.
