When to go
Characterised by a warm tropical climate, Thailand can be visited all year round, however there are some distinct seasons that could affect when you choose to travel. In Bangkok, the hot season runs from March to June, the rainy season from July to October, and the cool and dry season from November to April. The best time to visit is in the dry season between December and March, when the temperature is pleasant and days have clear blue skies. Although the rainy season, visiting from May to October offers warm temperatures and a chance to avoid the crowds that often arrive in the peak season from November to March.
