When to go
Characterised by a warm tropical climate, Thailand can be visited all year round, however there are some distinct seasons that could affect when you choose to travel. The most favourable time to visit Thailand’s west coast is between November and March, where sunny days and hot temperatures are coupled with a refreshing breeze. At the end of May, the monsoon rains begin to arrive, reaching their heaviest between the middle of September and the middle of October. Khao Sok National Park is best visited during this monsoon season, as temperatures are more pleasant and flora and fauna are abundant.
