Shimla

Rising majestically above the Himalayan hills, Shimla acted as the summer capital of British India, offering a cool respite from the harsh heat of the plains. Today this bustling city is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and still holds the lingering echoes of a bygone era. Add to the mix a vibrant culture, grand Victorian architecture and stunning landscapes from the tops of Shimla’s highest peaks.
