The best time to visit Cambodia is during the dry season from November to April. At this time the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country.
The temperatures start to rise in March and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
The Wet Season - May to October
It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. The months at the start of the wet season are usually the hottest of the year when temperatures can reach 40 degrees Celsius. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.
