One the smallest and most isolated regions in Bhutan, Haa remains beautifully untouched. This enchanting region is an ideal base for keen hikers and mountain bikers to get off the beaten track in an area that has remained unchanged for decades.
Only recently open to foreign visitors, Haa remains one of the last bastion of untouched countryside and is still one of Bhutan's least visited regions. Dominated by the Haa Valley, on the border of Sikkim and Tibet, this region is strikingly beautiful. With the remoteness of the area, the character of the region has been wonderfully protected and the lives of the nomadic farmers and herders unchanged for decades. The best way to explore the area is on foot and there are some lovely hikes to take as well as some beautiful temples to visit.
