Haa

Haa is one of the smallest regions in Bhutan and also one of the most isolated, leaving it incredibly untouched and beautiful. With its pristine alpine forests this is an idea place for mountain hiking and biking and a chance to view the lifestyles of nomadic Bhutanese herders that have remained unchanged for decades.

Haa

The area of Haa is dominated by the Haa Valley which remains one of the least visited areas of the country and one of the most striking and beautiful. Due to the isolation of this region you are truly immersed in rural Bhutanese life which feels totally unspoilt. The best way to explore this pristine area is by hiking and you can take many beautiful day trips here visiting Buddhist Temples along the way. Being isolated the lives of the nomadic herders and farmers living in the area has not changed for decades as you will see on your walks around the area. This truly is a magical and special area to explore, making you feel that you have stepped back in time.
