September

September brings about the end of some wildlife seasons and migrations but the start of some other wonderful wildlife. It still remains that ideal time for splendid safari game viewing across various Eastern and Southern Africa regions.

Make the most of the last remaining perfect weather in Uganda and Rwanda and go gorilla trekking. It may be the end of the humpback whale season in Mozambique and Madagascar; however September brings around new and exciting wildlife. Madagascar boasts many bird species, and the breeding of its world famous lemurs, whilst Mozambique’s waters bring whale sharks and Manta rays in.

Safari game viewing opportunities across Zambia, Tanzania and Malawi remain at an all-time high. With the weather still in its prime, it provides those ideal conditions to witness some prolific wildlife.

A safari trip cannot be complete without the sightings of African elephants. The excellent conditions in Botswana’s Okavango Delta may be drawing to a close, but it brings the most spectacular array of wild elephants, more than Chobe National Park can ever offer.

The weather off Kenya’s coastline remains perfect for a beach holiday this time of year, as well as the idyllic island destinations of Mauritius and Zanzibar.

Make the most of the most of the wildebeest migration that is still running in the Masai Mara, Kenya, and the even better weather off South Africa’s cape for whale watching.
