Matt’s love of Africa comes from time spent travelling around East Africa on overland truck tours before leading a university expedition to Tanzania. Matt then moved to Lesotho to set-up a tourism project and discovered a deeper love for Botswana, South Africa, and Namibia.
Matt is passionate about wildlife and different experiences, which is reflected in his knowledge and experience of Rwanda, Uganda, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Namibia & Zimbabwe.
"Adventurous, exhilarating, relaxing, fun packed honeymoon. Matt was extremely efficient and helpful in answering all my queries. I felt assured that we were going to places we would love and that the price was reasonable."
"Matt was brilliant. He really listened and understood what we wanted. All staff we dealt with were efficient and helpful. It was the stuff of dreams. Best holiday we have ever had and we’ll never forget it. "
"The arrangements made by Matt were excellent throughout and the holiday was very well-planned. He was extremely professional and helpful and the hotels where we stayed were wonderful. Many thanks for a superb holiday."
" Matt gave us time and showed patience at the start as we discussed various different options, and then came up with a package which met perfectly with what we wanted to do, and within our budget."
"Many thanks to you for your help and advice given to us to make our recent holiday so great, it was a trip of a lifetime. The trip will live in our memory for many years and we are already boring our friends with our stories."
"Expert knowledge, quick replies to many email queries, no push to sell."
"Even from the first conversation with Matt, one of the Africa travel consultants, it was clear that he could provide that for us, never pushy to sell and always very quick in replying the many emails with even more questions we had. The package we decided on was exactly what we were looking and hoping for, resulting in the most memorable holiday yet."
Favourite places I've been
I’d love to start by heading in to Laikipia in Kenya to explore some of Africa’s finest wilderness on foot and on horseback. After this it would be off to Ruaha in southern Tanzania – this hidden gem offers so much wildlife yet is not as popular as many
