With a life-long passion for the natural world, growing up Jo wanted to be David Attenborough and with parents who once lived in Cape Town, a love of Africa was inevitable. Until joining Imagine, Jo was a wildlife researcher spending a large amount of time working on projects in Zambia, Botswana and Madagascar. She shares her passion for this magical continent with all our guests!
Jo lost her heart to Africa at a young age, as she spent much of her childhood exploring the southern countries with her family. Happiest when in the bush with her binos and wildlife books, and as a keen traveller, Jo loves passing on this experience of her second home with everyone she speaks to (and always has a personal anecdote to share). Her globe-trotting has taken her over much of southern and eastern Africa; in the last few years alone Jo has been to Mauritius, South Africa, Madagascar, the Maldives, India, New Zealand, Tanzania and Botswana! She uses this experience to create perfectly personalised trips that are unforgettable and will keep you going back to Africa again and again.
