An avid lover of all things Bush, Anton has travelled through much of Southern Africa, further igniting his passion for his home continent. Originally from South Africa, much of Anton’s time was taken up guiding groups around the African bush, avoiding the crowds and giving people a more off-the-beaten-track safari experience.
Anton grew up in Zimbabwe & more recently worked in South Africa as a safari guide in the Kruger region for 5 years working his way up to Head guide at Kirkmans Kamp in the Sabi Sands. He is a birding & fishing enthusiast but equally happy to spend hours with a herd of impala, because you never know what may happen in the bush. This passion has caused him to explore, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Kenya and Zambia where he also helped managed a lodge just outside Lusaka.
Favourite places I've been
I would love to go chimp trekking in Western Tanzania's Mahale Mountains then take a few days sailing through the Quirimbas Archipelago in Northern Mozambique.
