Days 1 - 4 : Orange Walk District, Belize

Days 4 - 7 : Cayo District, Belize
Stay at Chaa Creek for 3 nights
Romantic and wild, the Lodge at Chaa Creek offers an exceptional adventure experience in the heart of a pristine nature reserve. Spend your days exploring the jungle and its residents including toucans, hummingbirds and butterflies. There are also night walks on offer where you can get up close and personal with the jungle's nocturnal animals including armadillos, owls and birds.
On each excursion, the jungle's inhabitants are at the forefront of the guide's mind, so expect them to point out curious passersby, usually including howler monkeys, coati and agouti.
Days 7 - 10 : Hopkins, Stann Creek
Stay at Hamanasi Resort for 3 nights
Surrounded by tropical flora and fauna, Hamanasi has the perfect combination of reef and rainforest, ideal for exploring Belize's two differing wild sides. Spot southern sting rays on the beach, swim with sea turtles metres away from your beach chair or head into the jungle for zip-lining at Bocawina and a history tour at the ruins of Xunantunich.
Bird-watching is common here, and you can spot brown footed boobies, frigate birds, brown pelican, aracari, woodpecker, scarlet macaws and hummingbirds.
Days 10 - 14 : Ambergris Caye, Belize
Stay at Victoria House for 4 nights
It's time to head to the beach for a healthy dose of complete relaxation. You'll take a short 30 minute flight from Dangriga Airstrip to Belize City followed by a ten minute transfer by golf buggy from San Pedro. A few days at the stunning Victoria House is just what everyone needs after a week of exploring the wildness of Belize's forest landscapes.
Spend your last few days unwinding on the beach or snorkelling amongst the colourful coral reefs. Opportunities to swim with nurse sharks, sting and eagle rays as well as moray eel and trumpet fish will make for an incredible marine experience. Enjoy delicious fresh seafood at the hotel restaurant and take full advantage of the hotel's spectacular service. For a true treat, take a helicopter ride over the Great Blue Hole to see one of the world's most fascinating natural ocean formations.
Day 14 - 15 : Flight Home.
You will be transferred to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
When to go
For Belize’s best weather, visit between the months of December to April. Expect warm weather and a great deal of sunshine as well as excellent snorkelling opportunities. Avoiding travel between June to October is recommended as daily heavy rainfall is common. Hurricanes are possible between August and October.
