Day 1 - 2 : Kathmandu, Nepal
Stay at The Inn Patan for 1 night
On arrival in Nepal, spend your first night at the beautiful and historic Inn Patan before taking your connecting flight to Pokhara. If you have time and would like to extend your trip, speak to your consultant staying two nights in Kathmandu on arrival to fit in a spectacular Everest flight.
Day 2 - 3 : Pokhara and the Annapurna Region, Nepal
Stay at Ker and Downey Sanctuary Lodge for 1 night
To start your trek, from landing in Pokhara you will transfer to the trekking starting point which will be about an hour by car. The first half of the route is through the foothills of the Annapurnas with beautiful views of the Pokhara Valley.
From here you will drop down into the Modi River Valley tonight's accommodation, The Sanctuary Lodge, is located. Handcrafted by local artisans, the Sanctuary Lodge is a stylish delight at only 3,600 feet. The stunning views of the sacred Fishtail Mountain from the lodge are unforgettable.
Days 3 - 5 : Pokhara and the Annapurna Region, Nepal
Stay at Ker and Downey Himalaya Lodge for 2 nights
This morning you will leave Sanctuary Lodge and following the Modi River Valley you will walk to Hiamalaya Lodge. The 5-6 hour trek today is rewarded with magnificent views and a beautifully prepared lunch once you arrive your lodge for the evening.
The Himalaya Lodge provides the most luxurious accommodation available at this height and you will have two lovely nights here to enjoy your surroundings. Make time to trek through the beautiful rhododendron forests and to visit the nearby Tadapani village.
Day 5 - 6 : Pokhara and the Annapurna Region, Nepal
Stay at Ker and Downey La Bee Lodge for 1 night
After a relaxing breakfast this morning to the backdrop of glorious views head out to your next stop along the trek, La Bee Lodge. Continuing to follow the Modi River you will have the chance to view the famous cliffs where honey hunters climb to collect the honey before passing through the beautiful village of Landruk and of course be treated to more spectacular mountain views.
After lunch at the lodge, you can decide whether to take some time to unwind and relax or explore the area and Landruk village further.
Days 6 - 8 : Pokhara and the Annapurna Region, Nepal
Stay at Ker and Downey Gurung Lodge for 2 nights
Today you will trek from La Bee Lodge to Garung Lodge, passing through undulating hills and through villages and farmland.
Over the two nights at Garung Lodge you will have the chance to take local hikes to the surrounding villages and to the stunning viewpoint of Garung Hill which offers more spectacular views of Annapurna South and surrounding mountains.
At 4,620 feet, Gurung lodge can be reached by one hour drive from Pokhara and a relaxing walk of one hour from Lumle. Being at that altitude, the views of the valley are truly incredible and give plenty of opportunities for the photography lovers.
Day 8 - 9 : Pokhara and the Annapurna Region, Nepal
Stay at Ker and Downey Basanta Lodge for 1 night
To start your day you will trek to the unspoilt village of Patlekhet and the diverse and sub-tropical forests that surround. Here you will find tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias. The panoramic views over the Phedi and Mardi Valleys are worthy of the three hour trek you will embark upon to reach this lodge.
Once you reach the lodge, your afternoon will be at your leisure to relax or explore the local village of Dhampus which is home to the ethnic Gurung community.
Days 9 - 11 : Pokhara, Nepal
Stay at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge for 2 nights
Today you will end your Annapurna trek and hike for about two hours back to Pokhara where you will have your final nights of your trip. This is a fantastic place to relax, unwind and spend a couple of days at your own leisure.
