This two and a half week itinerary will open your eyes to a land of extreme contrasts. Begin in the cosmopolitan city Santiago, before flying to the iconic Torres del Paine National Park, an adventure playground home to wild and magnificent landscapes to explore. Continue to Chile’s Lake District, famous for its turquoise lakes and verdant rolling hills, and end in the mystifying and less travelled Easter Island: one of the most isolated places on earth and an area of magnetism and beauty.
Days 1 - 3 : Santiago, Chile
Stay at Hotel Orly for 2 nights
On arrival into Santiago, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the heart of Providencia. During your time in Chile's capital city explore the highlights on a city tour. Wander the main streets of the historic centre and bohemian area of Bellavista, explore the main plaza where the Cathedral and National History Museum are located, and visit the Fine Arts Museum and get under the skin of one of South America's most cosmopolitan cities.
Days 3 - 6 : Near Torres del Paine NP, Chile
Stay at Patagonia Camp for 3 nights
This morning fly to Punta Arenas and transfer to the luxurious Patagonia Camp. Located on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia Camp sits on the shores of the enormous Lake Tores and boasts spectacular views of the Paine Massif. All meals and activities are included and during your stay you will explore the pristine wilderness of Patagonia. Soaking up the awe-inspiring scenery, hiking within the national park, kayaking the waters of Lake Toro and horseback riding through the pampas are just a few of the activities on offer here.
Days 6 - 9 : Puerto Varas, Chile
Stay at Hotel Casa Molino for 3 nights
Today, fly to Puerto Montt in the Lake District and transfer to the small boutique property of Casa Molino, located in the heart of Puerto Varas.
We have included a full day tour to Peulla, a comprehensive tour that allows you to explore the magnificent beauty of the region. Travel along the shores of Lake Llanquihue and enjoy wonderful views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Explore the Petrohue National Park and visit pristine waterfalls. From All Saints Lake take a catamaran to the tiny hamlet of Peulla, where you can enjoy lunch and take a short walk to nearby waterfalls.
Your remaining time in Puerto Varas is at leisure, activities on offer include climbing the volcanoes, hiking, fishing, rafting, hiking and agro-tourism to name a few.
Days 9 - 12 : San Pedro de Atacama, Chile
Stay at Casa Atacama for 3 nights
Fly north to the Atacama Desert and transfer to your lodge, situated a few blocks from charming San Pedro’s main square. All meals and activities are included during your stay and include hiking, mountain biking, world-class star gazing, visits to the El Tatio geysers, and much more. Explore the heart of the Atacama Desert and marvel at the natural wonders of the highest and driest desert in the world.
Day 12 - 13 : Santiago, Chile
In the early afternoon after one last activity exploring the Atacama Desert, fly back to Santiago and overnight at an airport hotel.
Days 13 - 16 : Easter Island, Chile
Stay at Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa for 3 nights
Fly to Easter Island, well known as a place of magnetism and mystery and home to a culture whose origins are still unknown today. Spend two full days exploring the amazing history and landscapes of the island, and discover its array of volcanic craters, lava formations, beaches and brilliant blue water. All meals and activities are included during your stay and include archaeological tours, hiking trips and horseback rides, among others.
Day 16 - 17 : Santiago, Chile
In the early afternoon after a leisurely morning, fly back to Santiago and stay overnight at an airport hotel before heading back home the following day.
