Start your trip with a few nights in cosmopolitan Santiago, before exploring the colourful port town of Valparaíso. From there head to Chiloé Island, a place of mystery rich in culture and rolling landscapes. Continue to Puerto Varas, an adventure hub brimming with turquoise lakes, majestic peaks and active volcanoes. Embark on a lake crossing into Argentina and explore the gorgeous setting of Bariloche, before ending in the vibrant and sophisticated city of Buenos Aires.
Days 1 - 3 : Santiago, Chile
Stay at Hotel Orly for 2 nights
On arrival into Santiago, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the heart of Providencia. During your time in Chile's capital city, we have included a city tour, where you will explore the city highlights from a natives perspective. Explore the city centre, wander around the Plaza de Armas and the Bohemian neighbourhood of Bellavista, and finish with a climb to the top of San Cristóbal Hill for panoramic views of the city.
Days 3 - 5 : Valparaíso, Chile
Stay at Zero Hotel for 2 nights
This morning transfer to the picturesque port of Valparaíso, a World Heritage Site and city brimming with history, quirky cafes, artists’ workshops and street art. During your time here, enjoy a guided tour and explore the historic downtown, labyrinthine maze of streets and brightly coloured buildings. The city oozes a bohemian feel and is the perfect place to wander. From Santiago you will pass a number of Chile's best vineyards and so if you would like to visit these on route, let us know and we can amend the itinerary to include this.
Days 5 - 8 : Chilean Lake District, Chile
Stay at Tierra Chiloé for 3 nights
Escape to the enchanting island of Chiloé on a flight to Puerto Montt. On arrival, transfer to your Tierra hotel, nestled amid the blue waters of Chile's Northern Patagonia. Days 8 - 10 : Puerto Varas, Chile

Today, transfer to your cosy guesthouse located just outside of Puerto Varas. We have included a half day tour to Osorno Volcano, during which you can explore the surrounding towns and climb the volcano, appreciating various view points on the way up. Alternatively if you don't fancy the climb, you can opt to take the chair lift, which reaches 1,750 metres. Your remaining time in Puerto Varas is at leisure, activities on offer include climbing the volcanoes, hiking, fishing, rafting, hiking and agro-tourism to name a few.
Days 10 - 13 : Near Bariloche, Argentina
Stay at Estancia Peuma Hue for 3 nights
From Puerto Varas, embark on a lake crossing into Argentina's Lake District. On arrival into the town of Bariloche check-in to your spectacular lake-front eco-lodge. All meals and activities are included and Peuma Hue’s backyard provides an amazing wilderness setting to explore. The estancia has its own stables and can offer superb horse-back rides for any level. There is also a system of trails that lead directly into the heart of the wilderness allowing you to discover spectacular mountain scenery, waterfalls and forests along with the flora and fauna of the region. Lake activities range from swimming on warm days (you can even swim with the estancia’s horses) to sea-kayak adventures and fly-fishing.
Days 13 - 15 : Buenos Aires, Argentina
Stay at Legado Mitico for 2 nights
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, check-in to your boutique hotel located in trendy palermo. During your time in Argentina's capital city, we have included a number of tours which will allow you to explore Argentine culture at its best. Discover the city highlights on a half day tour and visit the colourful houses of La Boca, the antique hub of San Telmo and wander around the green and leafy Palermo.
