Days 1 - 3 : Santiago, Chile
Stay at Luciano K for 2 nights
On arrival into Santiago, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Included in your stay is a half day bike tour of the city which will take you out to the green spaces and historical highlights of downtown Santiago. You will explore the beautiful parks, architecture, hip barrios and be given an insight into "Santiaguino" culture.
Day 3 - 4 : Torres del Paine, Chile
Stay at EcoCamp Patagonia for 1 night
Today you will fly to Punta Arenas for the start of your Patagonian adventure. This will start at EcoCamp Patagonia in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. Once you have arrived, there should be enough daylight to admire the snow-peaked horizon of the Patagonian steppe.
Day 4 - 5 : Torres del Paine, Chile
Stay at Refugio Paine Grande for 1 night
Today you will start the W Trek on a shared basis. You will begin the challenging trek towards Valle Frances leading to the very heart of the Paine Massif. You will continue upwards, stopping for a picnic en route. The day's trek ends with a descent through grassland and forest to the shores of Lake Pehoe, where your accommodation Refugio Paine Grande is situated.
Days 5 - 7 : Torres del Paine, Chile
Stay at EcoCamp Patagonia for 2 nights
Today you will hike from your Refugio along the shores of Lake Pehoe to the north side of Lake Grey. After a picnic lunch you will board the boat which will take you right to the great facade of Glacier Gray. From the southern end of the glacier, you will transfer back to EcoCamp where you will spend the next two nights. Your last full day in the national park will be spent trekking the most famous trail in the park. You will walk thtrough the Ascencio Valley towards the famous towers for a picnic with majestic views before returning to EcoCamp for a delicious and hearty dinner.
Days 7 - 10 : Chilean Lake District, Chile
Stay at Cabaña del Lago Hotel for 3 nights
This morning you will be transferred to Punta Arenas airport in time for your flight to Puerto Montt. On arrival you will be met and driven to your hotel in Puerto Varas.
Enjoy your time here to relax and explore the area, taking part in the many activities and experiences available to book.
Days 10 - 13 : San Pedro de Atacama, Chile
Stay at Explora Atacama for 3 nights
This morning you will be driven to Puerto Montt airport for your flight to Calama in the Atacama Desert. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. All meals and activities are included during your stay and range from volcano treks, hikes to high-altitude salt lakes, visits to geysers, horse riding and more. There are also star-gazing sessions at the hotel's observatory.
Day 13 - 14 : Santiago, Chile
Stay at Luciano K for 1 night
Transfer back to Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. You will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel for your final night of the trip.
Day 14 - 15 : Return flight home
Today transfer to Santiago airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
