Walking safaris in Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park is an exceptional destination for a walking safari. This is an unforgettable experience where you'll encounter a different perspective of the African bush, getting much closer to the nature and wildlife.
You head out early in the morning on your walking safari. Keep your eyes peeled for something different from a game drive, it might be animal tracks and spoor, or it might be an ant lion, or it could even be spotting the Ruaha red-billed hornbill. A walking safari is an assault on the senses - see how many different noises you can hear and identify, which tracks you can spot, and what animals you can sniff out.
Walking in Ruaha also gives you the opportunity to get close to big game such as elephants or lions. You will be accompanied by highly skilled and fully trained national park rangers as well as your guide from camp. A walking safari wouldn't be complete without a bush breakfast at the end too.
