Spend the day learning from the Balinese people about daily life, education, traditional house building techniques and the art of Feng Shui with a visit to Subak Guliang, where you will help to prepare a delicious breakfast to share. Learn about rice growing and enjoy lunch in a rice field, while being serenaded by traditional Rindik music, before heading to the 11th century Kehan Temple complex near Bangli, guarded by a mythical dragon.
You will then have the chance to visit the ancient village of Penglipuran, where the Bali Aga locals still live by the rules and regulations laid down by their ancestors. The day ends with a trip to Kintamani where you will see outstanding views of Mount Batur, which sits alongside Lake Batur.
