Roluos Countryside - Half Day
Spend half a day exploring the serene Siem Reap countryside, visiting the ancient Roluos Group temples which date back to the 8th and 9th centuries. This is a lovely way to experience rural Cambodia, including an ox cart ride and Buddhist monk blessing.
The Roluos Temples are located around 11 kilometres to the southeast of Siem Reap. The temples are spread over an area of around three kilometres, and best explored on foot. You will walk through the site, accompanied by your private guide, stopping off to admire these remarkably well preserved temples and taking in the scenic countryside vistas.
Roluos is the site of the first town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th and 9th century and consists of three main temples; Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko. During the tour it is possible to stop at one of the temples for a blessing ceremony with a Buddhist monk. You will also have time to enjoy a short ox cart ride, leisurely journeying past palm trees and farmland.
