Quirky Cape Peninsula
Spend the day speeding around the Cape Peninsula in a vintage WWII side-car! Wind your way along the coastal roads towards the Peninsula towns and beaches where shops, restaurants and wildlife await for an unforgettable day.
The day starts as you don yourselves in leather jackets, helmets and your sunglasses and coast along the Atlantic Seaboard with the salty air and stunning views along the way. The first stop is Hout Bay where you will head out on a boat to a small island, home to a seal colony. Here you will grab your snorkelling gear and jump in and swim alongside the seals and maybe even some dolphin pods. Back on the main land, you will continue in the side-car to Noordhoek where you can explore the lively shops and restaurants set around a village green.
In the afternoon you will head to the Cape Peninsula where you will be amazed by the beautiful panoramic views as you hike along the trails and explore the rock pools, shipwreck beaches and coves along the way. Coasting on to Simon's Town, you will find a colony of penguins on a secluded beach where you will have the opportunity to go stand-up paddle boarding to see them from a completely different view point. A stop off at Kalk Bay provides a perfect stop to see a fishing village and to explore the shops before stopping off at Muizenberg for a craft beer or gin.
Although lunch is not included on this tour, you can choose from a selection of lunchtime dining options – these are at an additional cost and pre-booking is essential. Cape Town is a foodie heaven and these options reflect the choice and standards of food around the city. Choices range from Local Eats, Fine Dining or a Wild Picnic, all with varying prices.
