Pisac Indian Market and Ollantaytambo Fortress
In the morning you will explore the sounds and colours of Pisac Market where indigenous communities come to sell their products. In the afternoon, visit the stunning Inca site of Ollantytambo, thought to be used as a fortress during the Inca resistance.
En route to Pisac Market, you will stop off at the small village of Awanacancha, home to a number of llamas and alpacas. You will also learn ancient knitting and dyeing techniques from the local inhabitants before continuing on to the market.
You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then head to Ollantaytambo, a colourful town that holds a storied history of the Incas.
