Lombok Land Cruise Adventure
Explore Lombok’s lush northern interior, with a visit to the Pusuk Monkey Forest, the pretty Sendanggile waterfall, Bayan’s 300-year-old mosque and the sacred tomb at Selaparang, finishing at the beautiful rice fields of the Lemor forest reserve.
This is a chance to discover the northern half of the island, starting with a trip to Pusuk Monkey Forest, home to hundreds of macaque monkeys, before heading into the jungle to see the pretty Sendanggile waterfall at the foot of Mount Rinjani. The next stop is the village of Bayan, the site of a 300-year-old mosque. The mosque has an unconventional design and you will learn how traditional beliefs and Muslim practices have merged over time. From here, you descend into the valley to visit the sacred tombs of King Selaparang and Maha Patih Gajah Mada, who played a vital role in unifying the archipelago that became Indonesia. The final stop is the forest reserve at Lemor where you will see a landscape of glistening green rice fields.
