Kayak and Snorkel at Cabo Pulmo
This lively and fun excursion takes to one of the most important marine parks in the Sea of Cortez, the beautiful Cabo Pulmo! Snorkel along the coral reef and kayak on the crystal-clear waters of the bay.
The Sea of Cortez was famously referred to as “the world’s aquarium” by Jacques Cousteau thanks to the abundance of flora and fauna that thrive in its waters. At the south eastern tip of the peninsula in perfect temperatures, the beautiful Cabo Pulmo, the American Pacific’s most northerly coral reef, flourishes.
Coral reefs are underwater cities: intricate and full of life. Join us today on an expedition that allows you to explore, discover and learn about one of the most precious and unique coral reefs on the continent. Pick up from your hotel is scheduled for 7:30am. From here, you’ll be driven past the picturesque towns of Santa Anita and Santa Cruz as well as views of the coast’s spectacular bays. After roughly an hour’s drive, you’ll reach a small embarkation point from which you’ll have the chance to kayak on the water and snorkel from two different sites teeming with underwater life.
Afterwards, you’ll be taken to the town to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch (included) at a local restaurant.
This full day tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
