Showcasing a melting pot of flavours with Chinese, Malay, India and Peranakan influences, this food tour offers a great insight into the multiculturalism that exists in the city. The tour begins in the bustling Geylang Serai market. A favourite with the city's Malay community, this well known market sells everything from live fish to spices. Sample Singapore favourites including Roti Prata (a flatbread dish) and Thosai (a type of pancake).
Continue to the neighbourhood of Joo Chiat and Katong, commonly associated with Singapore's Peranakan and Eurasian communities. Alongside the distinctive architectural and historic treasures, this area is known for its famous Laksa amongst other delicacies.
