Go in search of the magnificent Grizzly Bears of British Columbia on this full day excursion. Observe foraging bears as they prepare for winter hibernation. With an experienced First Nations guide, discover Canada's native history along the way.
Meeting point: at the Discovery Marine Safaris office, 760 Island Highway (across the street from the Campbell River Fishing Pier and Government Marina). Check in time is 45 minutes prior to departure.
See wild and majestic grizzlies in their natural habitat far away from human, civilization. The safari starts with a 2 hour boat ride to the Orford Valley which is in Bute Inlet on BC's mainland coast. Upon arrival you are welcomed by the first nations host. and then shuttled by minibus to a series of viewing platforms where you will observe grizzly bears foraging, and fishing for salmon. Includes: Full picnic-style lunch and bottled water.
