Be it $10 cups of coffee or the most valuable real estate in the world, Tokyo carries a reputation of style and extravagance. This half-day tour will help you get acquainted to some of the city’s most upmarket districts.
This afternoon, you will be met at your hotel by your local guide who will take you to Ginza using the city's excellent public transport network. With a square meter of land worth around £75,000, Ginza has some of the most valuable real estate in the world, so it is little wonder that it is the district where you will find Tokyo’s most upmarket shopping. Littered with world famous brands, huge department stores, boutiques, cafes and nightclubs, your guide will help point out some of the most famous names and be on hand to assist in any personal shopping you may wish to indulge in, be it for souvenirs or major label clothing and perfume.
Following Ginza, you will make the short journey to Tokyo’s financial district, which is home to the famous Mitsukoshi Department Store, one of the oldest in Japan. The basement food hall here is an attraction in its own right and your guide will help you find anything at all that you might want to buy. To finish the day, you can unwind in an elegant tea room for green tea and sweets before your guide takes you back to your hotel
