The tour begins at 6:30am, so after an early breakfast, you will be driven into one of the most pristine nature reserves in the whole country. You will be travelling across a dirt road and crossing several rivers to reach the centre of the park, so strap in and prepare for an adventure!
Nestled deep into the mountains just 200km east of Salta, the isolated conditions allows visitors to spot Tapirs and even the shy Puma, as well as an abundance of bird species. Some bird species are easier to see in this park than anywhere else so your guide will be hoping for Red-legged Seriema, Dusky-legged Guan, Toco Toucan, King Vulture and a number of attractive Tanagers.
You will walk along forest paths and keep a look out for noisy Alder Parrots or hiding Piculets. You will also visit a small lagoon where you will spend some time observing the birds. Next, you will drive to a different area where you will admire different landscapes and view wildlife for an unforgettable experience.
In the late afternoon, you will depart the park, arriving back at your hotel at 7pm.
