Apartheid Museum Tour
The Apartheid Museum illustrates the rise and fall of Apartheid within 20th Century South Africa and shows the world what really happened, how South Africa is coming to terms with the past and their hope for the future of the rainbow nation.
A series of twenty two individual exhibition areas guides you through the history of this state-sanctioned system based on racial discrimination, and the struggle to overthrow tyranny. The exhibit has been assembled to present the range of narrative about apartheid in the form of photography, artefacts, newspaper clippings and extraordinary film footage.
Tours to the Apartheid Museum can be taken privately or as part of surrounding area tours such as the Soweto Tour. The museum is open daily but guided tours are not available on Mondays.
