Due to the uncertainty surrounding the implications for travel in Europe after Brexit there are some unanswered questions which may affect our ability to fulfil holidays booked with us. Until the outcome of the Brexit negotiations is known, we are unable to comment on these questions and risks, largely because the legal position after Brexit is not yet known and so nobody can answer them with certainty.
What we can say with certainty is that by booking now, you secure the GBP price quoted, regardless of what may happen to the exchange rate in future – our policy is never to apply surcharges to cover currency fluctuations between booking and travelling.
It is our policy that (subject to the conditions below), in the event that a holiday originating in the United Kingdom cannot be fulfilled as a direct result of Brexit preventing (a) flights from operating or (b) UK passport holders from travelling freely to and from European Union countries, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund. We hope to be in a position to clarify this situation between now and the time of travel but this will depend on the outcome of Brexit negotiations.
- This policy will apply to bookings commencing on or within 90 days of the date of the UK’s Withdrawal from the European Union.
- Only bookings that include international flights originating from and returning to the UK and were arranged by Imagine Travel as part of a holiday package will be covered in case of aforementioned points (a) and (b) of this policy.
- This policy will not apply if guests are prevented from travelling because any member of the party has less than 6 months passport validity (from the date their holiday is due to leave the UK).
- A refund will only be offered If we are unable or unwilling to offer a reasonable alternative and will be applicable to arrangements booked through Imagine Travel only, own arrangements will not be included.
